ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Mobile QA that can help advance our mobile team to the next level as we continue to grow our platform at scale internationally.
As part of this role you will be responsible for owning the QA flow / process / test suites within mobile. You will help us promote and ensure excellent software quality throughout our product through the creation and maintenance of automated tests within the Mobile app and across our APIs.
We are looking for a talented individual who enjoys complex challenges to further enhance our suite of automated tests as our product continues to evolve and become more complex over time. You will be hands-on in writing automated tests whilst also having the opportunity to help mentor the wider team on test automation.
This is a great opportunity to join a relatively small team in a role where you will have a genuine impact in helping us drive our future growth on an international scale out to millions of users across the globe.
please note you must be based in UK to be considered for this fully remote role

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define, develop and maintain our automated regression testing suite (written in Appium for Mobile and Cypress for backend API’s) for our key user journeys and beyond: Help us move away from Maestro and move fully to Appium
  • Optimise and ensure that our regression suite is operational in CI/CD (we use Jenkins) pipelines across our test environments
  • Help us establish new tools and evolve existing processes to help our team continue to efficiently test as we continue to scale internationally
  • Help our teams work towards building and maintaining a healthy pattern of automated test coverage
  • Be a quality mentor that infuses the team with testing best practices and process improvements throughout the software development lifecycle
  • This role also includes some manual testing as and when required but the aim is to automate the test suites to reduce the reliance on this.
  • Work closely with your engineering team throughout agile sprints
