This is a remote opportunity within Canada, offering flexibility while contributing to a global creative environment \n Accountabilities: As a Senior Motion Designer, you will be responsible for creating polished motion experiences that support digital products, campaigns, and brand initiatives. You will combine design thinking, animation expertise, and technical execution to deliver engaging visual content across multiple platforms. Collaborate with art directors, copywriters, designers, and cross-functional partners to develop creative concepts and motion solutions. Translate concepts, scripts, and ideas into style frames, storyboards, and final animated experiences. Create 2D animations, kinetic typography, visual effects, and dynamic scenes using illustrations, photography, and design assets. Develop motion graphics and video content optimized for different digital platforms and user experiences. Integrate audio, music, and voice elements with visual storytelling to create cohesive final deliverables. Apply strong design principles including composition, pacing, hierarchy, and visual storytelling. Ensure motion assets follow brand guidelines and maintain consistency across creative outputs. Organize project files, incorporate feedback, and continuously refine designs through collaborative reviews. Support product launches, web experiences, and marketing initiatives through impactful motion design. Requirements: The ideal candidate combines strong motion design experience with a solid foundation in visual design, interaction principles, and digital production workflows. You should be comfortable managing creative projects from concept development through final delivery. 5+ years of professional experience as a Motion Designer within an agency, studio, or in-house creative environment. Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in motion design, animation, user experience, and interaction design. Ability to communicate design decisions and explain creative rationale clearly. Strong understanding of visual storytelling, composition, timing, and animation principles. Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, and visual concepts. Proficiency with design and creative tools such as Figma, Sketch, Framer, Adobe XD, and Adobe Creative Suite. Advanced experience with Adobe After Effects for animation and motion graphics. Experience using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop to prepare assets for animation. Familiarity with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro or similar platforms. Knowledge of 3D design and animation tools is a plus. Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with creative and cross-functional teams.
