You will join our Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) team in Singapore as a Senior Chemist. You will support process scale-up, technology transfer and manufacturing readiness. You will work closely with process chemists, engineers, safety and operations to solve technical issues. We value practical problem solving, clear communication and collaborative working. Responsibilities This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following: Lead laboratory and pilot studies to characterise process design space and improve robustness. Plan and execute technology transfers and prepare clear transfer packages for manufacturing. Troubleshoot process and manufacturing deviations and drive corrective actions. Write and review batch records, cleaning records and technical documentation. Support process safety, cleaning validation and regulatory readiness during campaigns. Coach operators and junior scientists and share practical knowledge. Why You? Basic Qualification We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals: Master’s or PhD in Chemistry or a closely related discipline. Minimum five years hands-on experience in process chemistry, MSAT or pharmaceutical process development. Practical skills in organic synthesis and lab-scale process optimisation. Familiarity with analytical techniques such as HPLC, NMR and LC-MS. Working knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practice and laboratory safety. Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience in cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualification If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Experience with pilot plant campaigns and technology transfer to commercial manufacturing. Experience in process safety assessments, cleaning limits and contamination control. Proven record leading technical investigations and implementing corrective actions. Familiarity with data analysis, visualisation or high-throughput experimentation. Experience supervising or mentoring technicians or junior scientists.
