REQUIREMENTS:

  • You have 15+ years with a Bachelor’s degree, 13+ years with a Master’s degree, or 10+ years with a PhD/JD.
  • You have In-depth knowledge of managed care strategy development, including contracting with strong relationships with regional or national accounts.
  • You have demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategy across complex healthcare environments inclusive of an ability to influence without authority and mobilize colleagues to action around shared goals
  • You have cross-functional industry experience in commercial life sciences or related field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • You have previous experience with channel accounts (Health Systems, GPOs, Pharmacies).
    The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $191,700.00 – $355,900.00. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position is eligible to earn incentive compensation that is calculated and paid in accordance with the applicable Incentive Compensation Plan for the role. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.

    This is a field-based position and overnight travel may be required. This position requires significant driving of either a company provided or personal vehicle as well as prolonged periods of sitting, both of which are part of the essential duties and responsibilities of the role. Responsibilities
  • Deeply understands the unique needs and capabilities of NS&CD customers and segments, contributing to strategies for improved patient outcomes, lower costs, and improved quality of care.
  • Defines the Commercial strategic vision for assigned accounts, aligning with Genentech and Squad Therapeutic Area strategies and identifying partnership opportunities.
  • Thinks creatively about cross-portfolio opportunities, prioritizes them, develops strategies and tactics, and drives execution with partners.
  • Negotiates favorable agreements to support distribution, purchasing, services, data, and other programs for Genentech products, impacting results beyond assigned accounts.
  • Serves as the expert on assigned national accounts, providing advice and counsel across the Customer Engagement team, and representing account segments in business planning processes and forums
