As the senior naval architect, ​​you work on diverse projects within the maritime industry. Whether it is an offshore, ship or submarine project, they are all important, and they all make an impact. Each project has their own challenges, and all will be faced in teams of 18 naval architects. Depending on the project, you might also have to lead a smaller Naval-team of 2 to 4 engineers.

• Translating technical requirements into designs;|
• Taking responsibility for the concept and basic design of various projects;
• Performing calculations in the areas of stability, resistance, and propulsion;
• Advising clients on technical decisions;
• Mentoring and guiding junior naval architects;
• Ensuring and sharing knowledge retention;
• Collaborating with specialists from other disciplines;
• Contributing to the conception of integrated solutions for complex maritime challenges;
• Possibly, leading small teams of two to four engineers, based of the kind of project.
