POSITION SUMMARY
Thales Canada, Defence & Security is engaged in supporting the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) through its In-Service Support (ISS) Programs. Between the AOPS & JSS In-Service Support (AJISS) and Minor Warships & Auxiliary Vessels (MWAV) programs, Thales Canada provides support to over 70% of the RCN fleet. Thales Canada is leveraging cutting edge solutions to deliver preventative and corrective maintenance, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Program Management, Engineering and Lifecycle Material Management (LCMM), and new capabilities to numerous platforms.
Thales Canada is looking for a Naval System’s Engineer interested in directly contributing to Engineering Change (EC) in the AJISS program. The Naval System’s Engineer will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that develops and delivers enhanced and new capabilities for RCN platforms through a broad portfolio of EC projects. The work will involve delivering Engineering work products through all stages of the EC process. Familiarity with Systems Engineering concepts and practices is beneficial. A demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and processes is considered an asset.
