Job Description We are looking for an experienced .NET Architect / Technical Lead to take technical ownership of a Portals & Platforms domain composed of multiple products (approximately five). You will lead the technical direction of a modern, cloud‑native microservices ecosystem, hosted on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and guide several full‑stack .NET development teams. The role combines hands‑on architectural leadership, technical decision‑making, and close collaboration with Product Owners, architects, and other technical leads. Key Responsibilities Architecture & Technical Leadership Define and communicate the target architecture for the Portals & Platforms domain Ensure architectural consistency, scalability, performance, and maintainability across products Lead and challenge technical design choices in collaboration with other architects and tech leads Guarantee alignment with clean architecture principles and best practices Platform & Cloud Engineering Provide strong technical leadership on AKS and Kubernetes (K8s) environments Ensure efficient use of Azure services and cloud‑native patterns Oversee microservices design, deployment, and lifecycle management Promote resilience, observability, and operational readiness Team Leadership & Collaboration Technically lead and coach full‑stack .NET development teams Actively participate in Scrum teams as a senior technical contributor Coordinate work across multiple development teams during sprints Facilitate and animate technical workshops and collaborative design sessions Product & Stakeholder Interaction Challenge functional requirements with Product Owners when needed Translate complex technical concepts into clear explanations for non‑technical stakeholders Support prioritization and handle emergencies or production issues in an efficient and structured way Continuous Improvement Drive continuous improvement of development practices and tooling Maintain strong analytical skills for complex issue investigation Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends Qualifications Technical Environment Backend: .NET 8, C# Frontend: Blazor Databases: SQL, MongoDB Architecture: Microservices, Clean Architecture Cloud & Platform: Azure, AKS, Kubernetes, Helm Integration & Runtime: Dapr Requirements Technical Skills Proven experience as a .NET Architect or Senior Technical Lead Strong expertise in AKS and Kubernetes (mandatory) Solid experience with microservices architectures in production environments Deep knowledge of .NET / C# and modern full‑stack development Experience designing scalable, cloud‑native solutions on Azure Soft Skills Excellent communication skills Strong coaching and mentoring mindset Ability to lead by example within Scrum teams Senior‑level analytical skills for complex technical investigations Structured and pragmatic approach to problem solving Ability to challenge technical and functional decisions constructively Comfortable interacting with developers, architects, and non‑technical stakeholders Languages English: fluent (mandatory) Additional Information For non‑EU candidates Must hold a valid work permit for Belgium Must have a residence permit confirming right of residence
