Key Responsibilities Delivery & Team Leadership * Own the day-to-day delivery of project workstreams, ensuring timely and high-quality execution * Lead a cross-functional team consisting of developers, QA specialists, and analysts * Provide hands-on technical guidance, mentoring, and support to team members * Proactively identify and remove blockers to maintain team velocity Technical Delivery * Design and develop enterprise-grade applications, APIs, and integrations using .NET and Azure * Translate solution architecture into practical, implementable designs * Collaborate closely with architects to ensure alignment with architecture standards and patterns * Participate in and lead code reviews, ensuring high-quality, maintainable code DevOps & Release Management * Coordinate and execute deployments and releases across environments * Ensure effective use of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices * Support environment management, release coordination, and deployment planning * Troubleshoot production issues and ensure system stability and performance Quality & Best Practices * Enforce development standards, coding best practices, and quality assurance processes * Promote and support automated testing strategies (unit, integration, end-to-end) * Drive continuous improvement in team practices, tools, and workflows Skills & Experience * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience) * 5+ years of experience in .NET development (C#, ASP.NET Core, Web APIs) * 2+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure * 2+ years experience with .NET CMS platforms, in particular Umbraco/Umbraco Cloud * Proven experience in a senior developer role with team leadership responsibilities * Strong experience with: * Azure App Services, Functions, and API Management * Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, Pipelines) * CI/CD implementation and release management * Git and branching strategies (e.g., Gitflow, PR reviews) * Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or similar) * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to own delivery outcomes * Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders * Experience leveraging to AI tools, GitHub Copilot in particular.
