  • Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science or a related discipline required, plus 5 years of related experience
  • At least 5 years of professional programming experience
  • Extensive experience programming in C#, SQL, JS, XML, HTML. The most important being C#/SQL
  • Real successes in optimizing C# algorithms or SQL transactions
  • Experience with technology stack of ASP.Net, ASP.NET Core, MSSQL Server, IIS, Azure DevOps
  • Experience building and maintaining applications
  • ETL experience
  • Automation experience
  • Experience building reports
  • Self-starter, who takes initiative. Finds things to improve without being told
  • Good communication skills
  • Power Platform, Power Apps, Power Automation, Power BI a plus
    We are providing the anticipated salary range for this role: $104,870 - $157,050 annually

Responsibilities

Canon USA in Melville, NY is currently seeking a Senior .NET Developer (Sr Engineer, Software Development) within the Marketing Strategy Unit to join our team and build functional applications and websites. Senior .NET Developer responsibilities include participating in the entire software development life cycle, debugging applications and configuring existing systems. If you are equally happy to roll up your sleeves to write code and review other team members’ work, we would like to meet you. Ultimately, you will use your expertise in the .NET framework to help us deploy high-quality applications.
This position is full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on other days). Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.
