Howdens Joinery are looking for an Senior.NET Developer to join our Supply Chain Application Development Team
Based at our office in Howden, East Yorkshire you will have the flexibility to work both onsite (minimum 1 day a week) and remotely.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

• At least 6 years experience in C# .NET Development /Full-Stack Development and have worked on technical projects from inception through to delivery.
• .NET 8 using C#
• Commercial experience using the MVC pattern
• Relational databases like SQL Server or Oracle
• Front-End scripting (e.g. React, TypeScript, Vue.js, Angular JS).
• Database design, programming (SQL) and query optimisation.
• Experience in ORM technologies such as EF 8
• Source control: TFS / GIT / Azure DevOps
• Lead development work on projects and BAU work.
• Manage sprints and backlog when required and allocation of project work to dev team for project and BAU work
• Provide expert advice in some or all aspects of programming methods, tools and /or standards used in the organisation.
• Support of ALM tools (Azure Devops) and delivery pipelines
• Provide expert knowledge and guidance on specific apps and in dedicated areas of the business
• Keep up to date on the newest technological innovations in the field and be ready to apply relevant innovations to our systems.
• Supervising external developers when working on project work.
