Description - External About the role Our practice is seeking a highly qualified Senior .Net Developer with Azure (Hybrid) with experience in developing and building impactful, scalable, enterprise applications. Our Developers have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Our developers are agile and retrospective, and not afraid to identify what we’re doing wrong, so we can fix it, so we can improve on it. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in New Jersey, NJ. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work-life balance though our various wellbeing programs. Work Authorization: **Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future** Key Responsibilities: · Typical duties include · Development -Writing, testing, and debugging code. · Designing and implementing new features. · Participating in planning meetings and technical reviews. · Support deployment. · Manage production issues for resolution · 5 to 8 years of experience Required Qualifications: · What you need to have to be considered · Strong hands-on experience with C# .NET core framework. · Experience in Web Server development. · Handson Experience in Queuw handling - AMQ, HiveMQ · Work Experience in Windows Thick Client, API Security and Interface Programming. · Proficiency in SQL Server Programming and databases. · Experience in CI/CD pipeline. · Strong Hands-on working exp with Azure cloud services. These will help you stand out: · Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. · Knowledge of cloud-native application development and serverless architecture. · Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps. · Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. · Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until December 13, 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $49,001– $92,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
