Description

About the job

Senior .NET Developer - Microsoft Consultancy

I am hiring for a Mid-Level .NET Developer to join a top-ranking global consultancy specializing in Microsoft development. With an exceptional reputation in the Microsoft ecosystem and a team that includes Microsoft MVPs, this is a fantastic opportunity for a developer looking to accelerate their career while working on some of the most exciting technology projects in the industry.

You'll work alongside highly experienced Microsoft specialists, contributing to challenging client projects across a range of industries and technologies. You'll have the opportunity to broaden your technical skill set, learn from some of the best developers in the Microsoft community, and work as part of a truly global engineering organisation.

The consultancy is also in an excellent position commercially, with more project work than they currently have consultants to deliver it. That means a strong pipeline of exciting projects and, importantly, no concern about spending your time sitting on the bench.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain modern applications using .NET and C#.
  • Work across a variety of client projects, helping to deliver high-quality Microsoft solutions.
  • Collaborate with experienced developers, architects, Microsoft MVPs, and client stakeholders.
  • Contribute to technical design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following modern engineering best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous technical improvement.
  • Learn and adopt new Microsoft technologies and development practices.
  • Work as part of distributed, international teams across a global consultancy.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years' commercial experience developing applications using .NET / C#.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and modern software development practices.
  • Experience building and maintaining web applications and APIs.
  • Good understanding of software engineering principles, including testing, version control, and code quality.
  • Experience with modern Microsoft technologies and the wider .NET ecosystem.
  • Experience with Azure or other cloud technologies would be advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A genuine interest in continuing to learn and develop your technical skills.

This role requires candidates to speak fluent Swedish and unfortunately cannot support visa sponsorships.

Why join?

  • Join a top-ranking Microsoft consultancy and work alongside Microsoft MVPs and leading specialists.
  • Work on exciting projects with a strong pipeline of work (more projects than consultants, so no bench concerns).
  • Be part of a global team with plenty of opportunities to learn and progress your career.
  • Enjoy a genuinely strong and sociable team culture, with summer and winter parties, sports clubs, after-work events, and regular opportunities to get to know your colleagues outside of work.

Please apply via the Easy Apply function.
