CompuOne Corporation — a full-service managed IT services provider headquartered in San Diego — is seeking a Senior Network Administrator to join our Illinois technical team. This is your opportunity to play a vital role in designing, managing, and securing advanced network environments across multiple client sites.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Networking, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, CompTIA Network+, or Microsoft Certified
  • Experience working in a MSP (Managed Services Provider) environment is a plus
Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, implementation, and support of scalable network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, wireless, etc.)
  • Monitor and optimize network performance, availability, and security using industry best practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, escalating and coordinating with vendors as needed
  • Configure and maintain VLANs, STP, LACP, QoS, and security protocols
  • Administer Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Office 365
  • Manage virtualization platforms including VMware, Hyper-V, and Azure
  • Oversee system audits, documentation, and disaster recovery planning
  • Serve as a technical lead on network projects and mentor junior team members
  • Stay ahead of emerging technologies and recommend improvements
  • Travel to client sites locally as needed (mileage reimbursement provided)
