Job Description
CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a Senior Network & Systems Administrator to help shape and support the IT foundation of our growing Boston hub. You’ll play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments. You’ll support our team of developers by serving as a senior escalation point for complex support issues. QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in a systems/network administration role supporting hybrid environments.
  • Deep experience with firewalls (Checkpoint preferred) and enterprise network devices.
  • Thoroughly proficient in Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware vSphere).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).
  • Deep understanding of network protocols, security architecture, and systems automation.
  • Clear, effective communicator with a focus on customer service and team collaboration.Experience mentoring junior IT staff.

Responsibilities
  • Design, plan, and implement scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure solutions (cloud, on-prem, and hybrid).
  • Document network topologies, system configurations, and IT processes to ensure continuity and clarity.
  • Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Manage virtualized infrastructure (e.g., VMware vSphere), ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
  • Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, VLANs, VPNs, wireless access points, and Checkpoint firewalls.
  • Monitor traffic, logs, and performance metrics to detect and resolve issues proactively.
  • Implement QoS and enforce network segmentation, IDS/IPS, and access control policies.
  • Manage cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP across IaaS and SaaS services.
  • Handle cloud IAM policies and ensure cloud configurations follow security best practices by monitoring and optimizing cloud resource usage and spend.
  • Lead the studio’s efforts in security hardening, risk assessment, and threat mitigation.
  • Assist in responding to and investigating security incidents, providing remediation and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
  • Maintain endpoint security, vulnerability scanning, and patching programs.
  • Support user onboarding/offboarding and elevate IT processes across the studio.
