Description
The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of global network infrastructure, with a focus on high availability, performance, and security across both on-premises and cloud environments. The role includes leading network-related projects, providing third-level support, and collaborating with IT, cybersecurity, and external partners to ensure seamless operations. Vos missions Design, implement, and manage global LAN/WAN, wireless, VPN, firewall, and Azure/AWS network infrastructures Monitor, optimize, and secure network performance; maintain documentation, DR plans, and asset inventory Lead network projects and contribute to cross-functional IT initiatives with Cybersecurity, Dev Engineering, and Service Desk teams Manage vendors and coordinate technical deliverables; ensure global connectivity, including VOIP and A/V systems Provide 3rd-level and on-call support, including for residences and critical services outside business hours Ensure compliance with best practices, scalability, and security standards across all environments Vos compétences Technical Skills & Tools Networking: Cisco, HP, Juniper, VLAN, QoS, BGP, OSPF Security: Fortinet firewalls, IDS/IPS, IPSEC, SSL VPNs Cloud: Microsoft Azure (core), AWS Monitoring: PRTG, Zabbix, SolarWinds, Wireshark VOIP & A/V: Network-integrated audio/video and telephony support Automation (a plus): Python, PowerShell, Ansible Strong knowledge of enterprise network protocols, hybrid/cloud architectures, and security best practices Qualifications 10+ years in enterprise network engineering CCNA required; CCNP preferred Strong knowledge of Cisco/HP, Azure, routing, switching, wireless Familiar with ITIL and enterprise architecture principles Project coordination and vendor management experience Languages Excellent command of English and French (spoken and written) Key Attributes Proactive and autonomous Analytical and solution-oriented Strong communicator and team player Adaptable and quick to learn
