JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an onsite experienced Sr. Network Engineer/Architect to craft, mlead and lead all aspects of a large-scale, multi-campus network infrastructure. This role includes ensuring the availability, reliability, and security of Data, Voice, and Video network services. The successful candidate will lead a team of engineers and work closely with leadership to align network architecture with business objectives.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 10+ years of dynamic experience in network design, implementation, and management.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco hardware (Catalyst switches, routers, ASA Firewalls, etc.), Wireless systems (Cisco Aironet WAPs), and Infoblox solutions. • Advanced knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, QoS, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, DHCP, and DNS.

  • Strong troubleshooting skills using diagnostic tools like Wireshark, Fluke Protocol Expert, and HP OpenView.
  • Confirmed leadership abilities, including leading teams and coordinating large-scale network projects.
  • Current or past Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) preferred.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance or eligibility to obtain clearance. Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with disaster recovery and business continuity planning for network infrastructure.

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Experience in designing and deploying NAC solutions, particularly Cisco ISE.
  • Knowledge of building enterprise-level Voice, Video, and Data systems.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical partners. Work Environment

  • May require travel between campus sites and remote offices.
Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain a robust network infrastructure supporting 10,000+ clients across MAN, WAN, and campus environments.
  • Lead and lead all aspects of the installation and operation of Data, Voice, and Video networks across multiple campuses and remote locations.
  • Provide leadership for network engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical oversight.
  • Develop and implement cohesive network architectures and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Lead critical network infrastructure, including: o Cisco Call Managers, Wireless systems, and NAC (Cisco ISE) o DNS/DHCP services, Load Balancers, and Web Proxy o Security Devices such as Firewalls and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS)
  • Oversee lifecycle management for network infrastructure, including upgrades, replacements, and capacity planning.
  • Solve and resolve complex network issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to integrate new technologies, lead network projects, and ensure compliance with security standards.
  • Develop documentation and processes for network operations and disaster recovery.
