Your tasks
- You are responsible for the operation, administration and monitoring of the Fortinet environments of our managed service customers – from physical FortiGate systems to cloud-based deployments.
- In 2nd-level support, you analyze and fix malfunctions, process incidents and service requests, and take on further technical work.
- Your responsibilities include the configuration and maintenance of firewall policies, VPNs (IPsec/SSL), routing, and SD-WAN environments.
- Working closely with our customers, you will act as a technical contact person, advise them, coordinate change requests and implement changes securely and transparently.
- You will be responsible for FortiClient, FortiMail, FortiSwitch and FortiAP components, ensuring their stable operation in a managed service environment.
- Your responsibilities also include onboarding new customers and systems, including documentation, as well as further developing our MSP products with FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer-based reporting.
Your profile
- You have several years of experience in the administration and operation of Fortinet solutions, especially FortiGate in physical and cloud environments.
- You will undoubtedly bring sound knowledge of network and security fundamentals such as routing, VPN, firewalling, NAT and TCP/IP to everyday operations.
- Practical experience with FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer and EMS is second nature to you.
- Ideally, you have already worked in an MSP or service provider environment and managed multiple customer environments in parallel.
- You are characterized by a strong service and customer orientation as well as secure and reliable communication; certification at level NSE 7 or an equivalent FCSS is desirable, alternatively you bring NSE 4/5 and a willingness to further professional development.
- Excellent German skills, both spoken and written, complete your profile.
