We are seeking a full-time Senior Network Engineer with experience supporting technology environments within senior living, healthcare, or continuing care retirement communities. This individual will play a critical role in designing, implementing, optimizing, securing, and supporting the organization's enterprise network infrastructure while ensuring reliable connectivity and technology services for residents, staff, and business operations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide technical support to end users, resolving issues with professionalism and excellent customer service. Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, cloud, and remote access networks. Troubleshoot complex network issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions. Support network security initiatives, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and compliance requirements. Lead network infrastructure projects, including Wi-Fi upgrades, WAN modernization, and cloud connectivity initiatives. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to IT team members while driving process improvements and automation efforts. Maintain network documentation, architecture diagrams, standards, and operational procedures. Participate in on-call support, change management, and performance monitoring to ensure reliable network operations. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field. 5 - 8 years of experience designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting complex enterprise network environments. Previous experience in an IT Help Desk or Technical Support role (Tier 1, 2, or 3) preferred, including system administration and documentation of support activities. Experience managing hardware, software, virtualization, and cloud-based systems. Strong knowledge of network architecture, routing and switching, LAN/WAN technologies, VLANs, MPLS, VoIP, VPNs, firewalls, IPv4/IPv6, and cloud networking platforms such as AWS and Azure. Experience supporting technology environments within a senior living, healthcare, or Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) setting preferred. Professional certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent networking certifications preferred.
