POSITION SUMMARY

• Install, configure, and support an organization’s local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet system or a segment of a network system. Maintain network hardware and software. Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance to support network availability. May supervise other network support and client server specialists and plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures.

• Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
• Minimum of five (5) years related experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet Mist, and/or Cisco LAN/WAN products.
• Minimum of two (2) years related experience building/modifying VPN tunnels and ACLs on Palo Alto and Cisco equipment.
• Minimum of five (5) years related experience as a network engineer in a production environment.
• Demonstrated experience with complex multi-site networks
• Experience with complex multi-site network troubleshooting, multilayered switch environment, VPN technologies.
• Proficient in Windows 10/11. Windows Server 2012/16/19 experience a plus. Linux experience a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical instructions and documentation
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Highly organized, strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
• Driven to provide a high level of customer service to internal and external customers
• Ability and willingness to travel and work after hours.
• Preferred Qualification
• At least one of the following current certifications: COMPTIA Network+, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or CCDA.
