Role Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network and Security Engineer with deep expertise in Huawei technologies to join our Network and Security Operations Center (NSOC) team. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of hands-on experience in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Primarily Huawei network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and security appliances. This role requires strong technical leadership, NOC operational experience, and the ability to handle multiple technology platforms in a fast-paced enterprise environment. Job Specifications Desired Educational Background * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field * HCIE-Datacom (Huawei Certified ICT Expert - Datacom) OR * HCIP-Datacom (Huawei Certified ICT Professional - Datacom) with HCIP-Security OR * HCIE-Security (Huawei Certified ICT Expert - Security) * Additional certifications: CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE, PCNSE, NSE 4-7, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, ITIL Foundation (preferred) Language Requirement * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English for documentation, technical reports, and stakeholder communication Desired Experience 8-10 years of hands-on experience with Huawei network and security technologies including: * Expert-level knowledge of Huawei routers (NE/AR series), switches (S5700/S6700/CloudEngine), firewalls (USG6000 series with policy, NAT, VPN, HA) * Experience with TaiShan servers, IPS/IDS, Anti-DDoS, and SecoManager platform * Strong foundation in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS) and switching (VLANs, STP, LACP, VXLAN) * Proven NOC operations experience with 24x7 oncall Support, SLA-driven incident/problem/change management following ITIL framework * Multi-vendor proficiency: Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet platforms and interoperability * Network management expertise using Huawei tools (iManager, eSight, CampusInsight) and third-party platforms (PRTG, SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix) * Cloud and automation capabilities: Azure/AWS hybrid architectures, Python, Bash, Ansible, or PowerShell scripting * Security best practices and compliance framework knowledge Job Specific Skills * Deploy, configure, and manage Huawei network and security infrastructure * Provide NOC operational support including on-call incident response and troubleshooting * Execute change management following ITIL standards and CAB processes * Implement and manage security solutions (firewall policies, IPS/IDS, VPN, SecoManager) * Manage configuration backups, firmware upgrades, patches, and version control * Create technical documentation, network diagrams, SOPs, runbooks, and performance reports Competencies Technical * Willingness to work in shift rotations for 24x7 NOC operations * Availability for on-call support and emergency escalations * Flexibility to travel to client sites and datacenters for implementation and support Behavioral * Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills * Strong client communication and stakeholder management abilities * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities * Self-motivated with continuous learning commitment * Professional demeanor and positive attitude under pressure About Malomatia malomatia is a leading Qatar-based IT services and solutions provider, bringing together top Qatari and international talent to deliver innovative, end-to-end technology solutions that empower clients to achieve their strategic goals.
