  • Plan, design, implement, and maintain network-based services and tools, including DHCP, DNS, and IP address management.
  • Serve as a lead network engineering resource for campus construction and renovation projects that require additions or modifications to wired and/or wireless network infrastructure or intra-building wiring plant.
  • Develop and manage programs related to enterprise network operations, encompassing security controls.
  • Audit and analyze network performance and stability, providing recommendations for hardware and software upgrades.

  • Consult with leadership to perform and/or assist the technical support staff in the installation and set-up of computing systems and network devices according to baseline security measures and appropriate operation and functionality practices.
  • Maintain accurate system, network and change logs to track all device patch levels, network security policy changes, and potential security threats or attacks/probes on IT systems.
  • Maintain integrity and appropriate confidentiality in institutional and program operations.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and cooperative working relationships to accomplish the objectives of the Information Technology Division.
  • Represent the university at conferences, seminars and/or meetings and serve on ad hoc and standing committees as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
