About the role:

Our Network Engineer will work as a member of the projects and support infrastructure teams. They will have proven experience in supporting and maintaining network infrastructures whilst understanding the importance of mitigating cybersecurity threats.

This role won’t be suited to you if you prefer working in isolation, you are not proactive, or you’re not interested in learning.

You will be involved in:

• Configuring and maintaining network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.
• Ensuring the availability, stability, and security of our network by implementing and managing TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, IPSec/SSL VPN, and other network protocols.
• Troubleshooting and resolving network issues, including configuring and troubleshooting Site-to-Site tunnels.
• Conducting site audits to assess network performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary changes.
• Staying up-to-date with emerging WAN technologies such as MPLS and SD-WAN, and making recommendations for their implementation.
• Configuring and troubleshooting NGFW (Next-Generation Firewalls), switches, and routers from vendors such as Cisco, Meraki, and Aruba.
• Providing guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers, sharing your expertise and knowledge.
• Act as an escalation point to support clients and colleagues.
