JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing and optimizing high-performance IT infrastructures across various industries. The role involves implementing cybersecurity frameworks, overseeing multi-site deployments, and supporting migrations of complex systems and network operations. This hands-on systems engineer position will serve as part of the Compass Group Technology Integrations team, providing oversight, coordination, and delivering the activities supporting successful integration and migration of systems used by entities acquired by Compass Group.
The Senior Network Engineer role combines systems engineering skills with the ability to support a diverse team of engineers.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology or 5+ years of IT Systems /Network Support with a strong grasp of LAN/WAN/WLAN/cloud technology
  • Relevant certifications like CISCO CCNA/CCNP or CompTIA Network+
  • Proven track record in managing IT infrastructure and services in a senior role.
  • Experience with virtualization, network security, and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of local and wide area networks for acquisition site migrations.
  • Installing, configuration and maintain network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls and software).
  • Implement network security measures in compliance with Compass Group standards and requirements.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex network issues during integration and migration phases
  • Generate detailed SOW for planning and implementation of complex network related projects
