Description
This role is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise network and security infrastructure. The Senior Network Engineer ensures high availability, security, and performance of network services across the organization while contributing to continuous improvement, troubleshooting complex issues, and supporting business growth. • Design, implement, and manage enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN). • Configure and support Layer 2 and Layer 3 network environments. • Manage and troubleshoot Fortinet FortiGate and Cisco Firepower firewalls. • Implement and maintain network security solutions (VPN, WAF, ACL, firewall policies). • Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability. • Perform root cause analysis for complex network and security incidents. • Support wireless network infrastructure and troubleshoot connectivity issues. • Participate in infrastructure improvement, upgrades, and expansion projects. • Document network architecture, configurations, and operational changes. • Contribute to automation and standardization initiatives. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. • 4+ years of experience in network and security engineering roles. • Strong knowledge of Layer 2 & Layer 3 networking concepts and protocols. • Hands-on experience with Fortinet FortiGate and Cisco Firepower. • Good understanding of network security concepts and technologies. • Experience with VPNs, WAFs, ACLs, and enterprise security tools. • Familiarity with wireless networking (802.11 standards, RF fundamentals). • Knowledge of network automation tools and concepts is an advantage. • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. • Responsible, organized, and solution-oriented mindset. • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks. • Good communication and team.
