THE ROLE

Are you a seasoned network engineer with a passion for operational excellence and future-proofing critical infrastructure? We’re looking for a Senior Network Engineer (Operations) to take ownership of key network functions, ensuring performance, stability, and scalability across Truespeed’s high-speed fibre network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of Truespeed’s network and interconnections
• Proactively monitor performance and implement continuous improvements
• Diagnose complex issues, lead root cause analysis, and deliver long-term fixes
• Drive the implementation of network monitoring and automation tools
• Collaborate on the network roadmap and infrastructure changes
• Lead post-incident reviews and maintain technical documentation
• Manage capacity planning, resilience, and customer onboarding
• Mentor junior engineers and lead operational improvement projects
• Manage vendor relationships and hardware/software procurement
• Participate in the on-call rota and act as escalation point for incidents
• Provide cover for the Network Operations Manager when required
