An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Network Engineer to join the Secure Network Services team in Group Technology. The Security Infrastructure Services team is responsible for designing, building, managing, optimizing, and supporting high-performance network-security services and infrastructure for the Westpac Group.
As a Senior Network Engineer, you’ll partner with and work very closely with customers, vendors and the broader networks and infrastructure teams. You’ll play a critical role in engineering, delivering and evolving network-security patterns across edge and perimeter environments, with a strong focus on driving and optimising our Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) mitigation capabilities.
Leveraging Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation, you’ll take the lead in building and managing network-security infrastructure that is robust, resilient, efficient, and continually refined through telemetry, testing and operational feedback loops.
