QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of experience in network administration or network security engineering.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and managing enterprise firewalls, switches, wireless access points (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco/Meraki)
  • Strong knowledge of switching, routing, VLANs, and network segmentation.
  • Experience with wireless network configuration and security best practices.
  • Understanding of network security principles, intrusion detection/prevention, and threat mitigation.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues under time pressure.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools for network and security visibility.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with OT network design and security.
  • Familiarity with ICS/SCADA systems and related security standards (e.g., NIST 800-82, IEC 62443).
  • Experience with NSM, IDS/IPS tools (e.g. Zeek, Snort, Surricata)
  • Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for automation and monitoring.
  • Vendor certifications (e.g., PCNSE, CCNP Security, CWNP).
  • Experience with network security in cloud-connected environments (AWS, Azure).

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot firewalls, switches, and wireless access points across all sites.
  • Implement and maintain network segmentation and VLAN configurations for security and performance.
  • Support the design, deployment, and security hardening of new OT networks.
  • Manage secure remote access solutions, including VPN and zero-trust technologies.
  • Monitor network traffic and security events; respond to alerts and investigate anomalies.
  • Perform regular updates, patches, and firmware upgrades for all network devices.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of firewall rules, access controls, and network configurations.
  • Work with IT, security, and technical teams to ensure high availability and resiliency of network services.
  • Manage ISP and vendor relationships.
  • Document network configurations, procedures, and incident responses.
