Role: Senior Network & Systems Design Engineer
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Technician. This role is integral to designing, implementing, and managing complex network and systems solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients. You will collaborate with our internal team and our clients, leveraging your experience to enhance and refine our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage advanced networking solutions, including VLANs, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPNs, and routing/switching technologies.
  • Utilize packet tracing tools like Wireshark for detailed network analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Lead administration of Windows Server environments, focusing on Active Directory, Group Policy, server migrations, and Hyper-V virtualization.
  • Manage and implement SharePoint environments.
  • Engage with Azure & Microsoft 365 Security Stack, including Azure AD, Intune, Conditional Access, Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Defender tools.
  • Lead and participate in project activities such as client onboarding, cloud migrations, and networking design and implementation.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues, ensuring thorough resolution and client satisfaction.
  • Proactively seek improvements, staying abreast of industry trends and advancements.

Skills and Experience we’re Looking for:

  • 4+ years of professional experience as a Systems Administrator, Network Engineer, or similar role.
  • Proven advanced networking experience with a solid understanding of VLANs, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and in-depth network troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in Windows Server Administration, including experience with AD, Group Policy, and server environments.
  • Hands-on experience with SharePoint management and eagerness to learn Microsoft Purview.
  • Familiarity with Azure & Microsoft 365 Security Stack is preferred.
  • Demonstrated operational experience in technical project management and escalated issue resolution.
  • Strong self-driven initiative, eager to innovate and improve IT solutions.
  • Meticulous documentation practices, with the ability to maintain comprehensive technical records and diagrams.
