Responsibilities
  • Work independently to support day-to-day Iridium system and security integration, provide installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of servers and general computing resource hardware, including VMware infrastructure, and extensive Linux operating system knowledge
  • Be accountable for monitoring and maintaining SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificates
  • Analyze data and draw appropriate conclusions pertaining to security criteria required to meet compliance with NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology), STIG (Security Technical Implementation Guide), IAVA (Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts), and ACAS (Assured Compliance Assessment Solution)
  • Conduct research on products, services, protocols, and standards to remain abreast of developments in the cyber security industry, so you can recommend technologies, best practices, and provide knowledge-based recommendations to management
