Description
You design and are responsible for the network and transmission landscape: from conception to rollout, from documentation to troubleshooting.
You analyze, administer, and implement IT system components in our network and transmission environment.
You bear the technical responsibility for ensuring that information security objectives (e.g., according to DIN ISO/IEC 27001) are effectively implemented at the network and transmission level.
You design, test and optimize network designs (IP/MPLS, routing, segmentation, redundancy, QoS)
You coordinate and plan transmission-related technical matters (e.g., MPLS, IP, WDM, optical systems) and work closely with providers and internal teams.
You create and maintain technical documentation so that changes, designs, and decisions are traceable and auditable at all times.
You perform troubleshooting and system analyses, resolve complex malfunctions, and adapt systems accordingly.
You support and are responsible for hardware rollouts (new routers, switches, firewalls, optical systems) from planning to commissioning.
