2+ YEARS OF HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE WITH BURNER OR COMBUSTION-RELATED PRODUCTS

  • Proficient in SolidWorks and 3D modeling
  • Strong knowledge of combustion simulation tools (highly preferred)
  • Familiarity with manufacturing methods: casting, stamping, fabrication, 3D printing
  • Solid understanding of FMEA, DFMEA, DFM, and Six Sigma principles
  • Exceptional project management and cross-functional communication skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% within North America
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We’re hiring an innovative and results-driven NPD Engineer to lead New Product Development initiatives focused on combustion systems. This is a high-impact, hands-on engineering role where you’ll manage projects from concept through commercialization using a structured stage-gate process.
You’ll collaborate closely with product management, sales, operations, and leadership to align engineering goals with business strategy—driving design innovation, product performance, and customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage NPD projects from concept through launch using stage-gate methodology
  • Identify and scope new product or technology opportunities to expand market reach
  • Design and prototype combustion-related products using SolidWorks and rapid prototyping tools
  • Conduct performance testing, failure analysis, tolerance studies, and DFMEA
  • Own project deliverables including BOMs, 2D/3D models, and technical documentation
  • Engage with customers to deliver tailored application-specific product solutions
  • Evaluate and improve existing products for cost, quality, manufacturability, and compliance
  • Present market trends, innovations, or risks to executive leadership
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows and technical functions
