Senior Night Care Assistant
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Night Care Assistant to join our team. As a Senior Night Care Assistant, you will provide personalised care and support to elderly individuals in a residential care setting. Your role will involve assisting with night to day activities, ensuring their safety and well-being, and promoting their independence.
The successful applicant will be appointed subject to providing evidence of ISA first and enhanced DBS disclosure.
Please note this role is open to UK- based candidates only.
Senior Night Care Assistant Duties
- Give support and care to the residents whilst maintaining their rights to independence, privacy, dignity and choice and assist in their daily living.
- Assist residents who require help to undress/dress, wash, bath and use the toilet.
- To assist residents with mobility problems and other physical disabilities including the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
- Promote and adhere to the Greensleeves Care Workplace values of respect, openness and responsibility.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Administer medication as per schedules.
Qualifications
- An understanding of the needs of residents
- An understanding of the importance of confidentiality
- Qualifications and credit framework (QCF) diploma in care level 2 or 3 or the eqivalent (Desirable)
- Experience of providing care (Desirable)
-Experience of working with elders (Desirable)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
