Are you a compassionate night owl looking to make a profound difference in the lives of others? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Night Care Assistant to join our outstanding team!
At Westerley the Senior Night Care Assistant role is to work 4 nights on, 8 nights off on a rota basis, this works out at 23.33 hours a week. Night shift hours are 9.15pm to 7.15am.
The Role: As our Senior Night Care Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents during the night shift. Your main focus will be ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our residents throughout the night, while leading a dedicated team of care assistants. You will be the guardian of peace, security, and a restful atmosphere, ensuring a peaceful and comfortable night for all.

What You’ll Do:

  • Supervise and coordinate night care staff, ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered consistently
  • Conduct regular checks and observations to identify any changes in residents’ conditions, promptly reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel
  • Assist residents with their night-time routines, including personal care, medication administration, and comfort
  • Provide emotional support and companionship, fostering a warm and caring environment
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
  • Respond efficiently and effectively to emergencies, following established protocols
  • Work with the wider care team to create personalised care plans and contribute to residents’ overall well-being
