Open Fibre Networks (OFNL), part of the BUUK Group are looking for a Senior NOC Engineer (Nokia) who would like to help us reach our mission to “earn customer loyalty and drive business growth by providing consistently excellent service”.
This is a hybrid role based in central Cardiff.
As the Senior NOC Engineer (Nokia) your key responsibilities are
· Manage, operate and develop OFNL network environment, responding to outages and major incidents as required
· Work to achieve 99.9% service availability, always providing a high level of customer service
· Perform necessary change management, whilst minimising customer impact
· Maintain and upgrade the Core network, working with both internal and external stakeholders to maintain network operations
· Be a senior technical point of escalation for colleagues and mentor team members on technical issues
· Be part of escalation on-call rota to ensure 24/7 coverage, which will include planned and unplanned maintenance to the network
