JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior NPI/NPD Project Manager to lead and execute new product introduction (NPI) and new product development (NPD) projects from concept through launch. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, meticulous planning, and effective stakeholder communication to ensure successful product delivery aligned with quality, cost, and schedule goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the full NPI/NPD process including planning, execution, process gates, and gate reviews.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and Quality to align project goals and execution.
  • Lead and manage large-scale product launch projects, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and key milestones.
  • Identify and assess risks and implement mitigation and contingency strategies to minimize project impact.
  • Ensure products are designed for manufacturability, testability, and cost-efficiency, coordinate with suppliers and contract manufacturers for production readiness.
  • Define and monitor quality standards across all stages of product development.
  • Oversee product launch execution including coordination with marketing, sales, and supply chain for go-to-market readiness.
  • Promote and implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline NPI/NPD processes.
  • HVAC product experience is desirable but not mandatory.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing NPI/NPD processes and cross-functional product development projects.
  • Strong background in working with engineering and manufacturing teams.
  • Excellent leadership, planning, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
