We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Nurse to join our Health Visiting Senior Leadership Team within Public Health Nursing. This post holder will be required to utilise their specialist knowledge and skills to promote strong, compassionate leadership and clinical governance to ensure the provision of quality services enabling all children to have the best start in life.
The role will support the Health Visiting Service in the modernisation and implementation of the Health Visiting Improvement and Sustainability Board recommendations.
The post holder will jointly ensure the effective integration of services across ABUHB ensure the delivery of the Early Years Healthy Child Wales Programme.

We are looking to recruit a full time Senior Nurse 8a position in the Health Visiting Service.
The post holder will provide clinical leadership, direction and development of staff in Public Health to improve quality and shape services to meet Public Health Agenda and needs of individual communities in partnership with other agencies.
The post holder will support the Divisional Nurse, Directorate Manager and Clinical Director and Lead Nurse (Health Visiting) in ensuring the highest standard of nursing care is provided, monitored and evaluated within Public Health Services.
The post holder will support the directorate management team in the modernisation and redesign, development and delivery of Public Health Nursing – Health Visiting across Aneurin Bevan Health Board and respond to National Agenda.
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the safety and welfare of staff ensuring that they observe and implement Health and Safety Policies identifying and achieving training and developmental needs through the implementation of Health Board policies and procedures.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
