Located in the welcoming regional town of Forbes NSW, Jemalong Retirement Village is our 105-bed residential aged care home, and we are currently seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. This opportunity has become available due to an internal promotion offering a rare chance to step into a well-established role with a strong foundation. We are looking for an experienced nurse manager professional with strong leadership skills, a passion for person-centred care, and the ability to foster a positive team environment.
In this leadership role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our 105-bed, single level home, ensuring the highest standards of care and service for our residents. With a stable and fully staffed master roster, and a team committed to excellence, you will be supported to focus on operational and clinical leadership, quality improvement and community engagement. You’ll foster a culture of warmth, respect, and excellence, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and services across clinical, administrative, hospitality, maintenance, and lifestyle functions.
You will be supported by a dedicated leadership team including 3 Care Managers, a Workplace Educator, Administration Manager, Coordinators for Lifestyle, Pastoral Care, Maintenance and Housekeeping, and a committed team of nurses and carers. In addition, you’ll have access to a Regional Manager and centralised support from HR, Recruitment, Workforce Rostering and Operational teams.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centred care
  • Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and Accreditation requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement in clinical outcomes and resident experience
  • Operational planning, budgeting, and resource management
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, employees, and the wider community
