Nursery Practitioners:
At Early Learning Childcare, we take pride in providing a warm, friendly, caring environment and developmental support to maximise the potential of children in our care. We also provide ongoing training to our staff to ensure they are equipped with adequate knowledge to support the children under their care.
Due to a sudden increase in demand we are looking to recruit qualified Childcare Practitioners to join our expanding team of committed and enthusiastic professionals.
If qualified and experienced, this role could lead to a Room Leader position. However as a minimum,

You must have………….

  • Level 3 Certificate in Childcare.
  • Have sound knowledge of the EYFS and be able to put this into practice in order to plan, evaluate and assess to meet children’s needs
  • A passion for providing high quality care and education for our youngest children.
  • Have at least 2 years experience working in a childcare setting and be able to work well as part of a team, as well as on your own initiative.
  • Have excellent attendance and timekeeping skills, which are both essential to providing consistent care and forming positive relationships.
  • Good literacy skills in order to complete children’s daily records and be computer literate in order to complete observations online.
  • Be able to communicate well with parents and families from a variety of cultures and backgrounds .
  • Good team building and leadership skills

Key responsibilities:

  • To produce a stimulating and nurturing environment to support children’s development.
  • Support children’s daily care routines and ensure the welbeing of children is met as a priority

Follow the EYFS framework to a high standard

  • Maintain a good level health and safety at all times
  • Providing activities and learning experiences based upon children’s interests and level of development.

Be able to lead a room and also deputise for management when the need arises

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our parents
  • Work closely with the management team.
  • Have caring and nurturing nature to support individual children’s emotional well-being, and a drive to develop children’s learning, development and experiences.
  • Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage
  • The capability to ensure that staff are developed to their full potential
  • Have a flexible approach
  • A willingness to attend training
  • Be able to show Initiative and have a motivated and proactive outlook
