Your Opportunity: This is a unique chance to be at the forefront of New Relic's growth in Thailand. We're seeking our very first technical expert on the ground to lead our award-winning Observability platform's presence in the region. Ideally, you'll be based in or around Bangkok. This is a remote-first role, offering you the flexibility to work from your preferred location while still requiring the ability to collaborate in person with the team and customers as needed. You will be the foundational member of a new team, working hand-in-glove with two experienced Account Executives to establish our presence and drive significant technical wins across the region. As our Senior Observability Presales Engineer (or Senior Solutions Consultant) you will bring a rare combination of deep technical expertise and strong presales acumen to deliver transformative outcomes for customers. This role is about more than just selling software; it’s about shaping New Relic’s future in the SEA market and empowering businesses to eliminate digital disruptions. What You'll Do: Serve as the lead technical expert for New Relic in Thailand, owning and driving technical presales engagements from qualification through to a successful close. Work in close partnership with our regional Account Executives, providing crucial technical sales support and strategy to win new business and expand existing accounts. Build and nurture trusted relationships with customers and prospects, becoming their go-to advisor for their observability strategy. Deliver engaging and impactful product demonstrations, Proof of Value workshops, and compelling business justifications that showcase New Relic's power. Evangelise New Relic's innovative capabilities and be the voice of our customers, providing invaluable feedback to our product and engineering teams. This Role Requires: Fluent proficiency in both Thai and English is essential, as the role will have a major focus on the Thai market. A strong understanding of how customers work with hyperscaler software, specifically AWS and Azure. Proven presales or consulting experience, including the ability to independently lead and manage complex enterprise engagements. Deep expertise across the various layers of enterprise technology, from user experience to modern cloud applications and infrastructure. A solid grasp of native cloud technologies such as Kubernetes, containers, microservices, SRE, DevOps, and CI/CD. Experience with performance monitoring tools (infrastructure, application, web or mobile, network, user experience, CX). Exceptional stakeholder management and customer engagement skills. Bonus Points: Direct experience in Observability is highly preferred, but if you have a background in software security (not hardware or networks), that would also be highly valued. An understanding of Otel or Software Consumption pricing models. Experience in the FinTech or Financial Services sector. Familiarity with SAP technology. A background in mobile device platforms and architectures (iOS & Android). Experience working with partners. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent field.
