(Saudi National Only) Grade: 5 Location: Dhahran Working hours: full time Advert closing: 03/12/2025 Responsibilities 1. Leadership & Supervision: · Line management of the OHS Section (OHS Specialist & RPS Specialist). · Oversee daily operations, staff performance, and resource allocation. 2. Regulatory Compliance & Technical Guidance: · Provide expert occupational health and safety advice to RSAF, AFAMC Director, and staff. · Advise leadership and staff on regulatory and technical safety matters. 3. Audits, Surveys & Risk Assessments: · Identify and mitigate workplace hazards across RSAF facilities. · Conduct annual base surveys, occupational hygiene surveys, and risk assessments. · Advise on noise monitoring results and necessary control measures using sound level meters (SLM) data. 4. Training & Development: · Design and deliver OHS, occupational hygiene, and environmental safety training. · Deliver mandatory Noise and Crew Resource Management as scheduled in the AFAMC physiological training program. 5.Incident Reporting & Emergency Support: · Support and coordinate workplace incident response and follow-up. · Ensure accurate and timely incident reporting, investigation, and documentation. 6.Strategic Safety Programs & Continuous Improvement: · Develop proactive occupational health and safety measures. · Contribute to long-term safety planning for RSAF facilities. 7.Communication & Stakeholder Engagement: · Liaise effectively with AFAMC Director, Base Directors, and RSAF Safety Director. · Provide clear, actionable reports and recommendations. Job Requirements: · A Degree or a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety. · A NEBOSH certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience necessary to ensure the post holder has the breadth of knowledge to provide competent advice. · Experienced in formal teaching of Noise Safety and Crew Resource Management (CRM) Training. Responsibilities

The Senior Occupational Health & Safety Specialist will lead the OHS Section, overseeing daily operations and staff performance. They will provide expert advice on regulatory compliance, conduct risk assessments, and develop training programs.
