We are seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to support our growing team. You will deliver evidence-based Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions to clients under aged care funding programs, with a focus on reablement and restorative care. Your work will help older people maintain or regain independence, mobility, and confidence to remain living at home.   This is a 6‑month fixed term contract offering full‑time or part‑time hours (minimum 4 days per week) and we welcome applications from internal candidates across our national organisation.  Your team: You will be joining an established and supportive group of health professionals who share a passion for helping older Australians live well. Together, we help people feel loved, valued, and respected every day.  About you:   * Degree in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration   * Demonstrated ability to assess occupational therapy needs and develop individualised programs for aged care clients in the community    * Post graduate experience working with in a variety of aged care services, including rehabilitation and community settings    * Comprehensive understanding of reablement and restorative care models   * Confident working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team   * Excellent written and verbal communication skills    * Demonstrated computer literacy    * Alignment with BaptistCare’s values and mission   * Current first aid certificate or willingness to obtain     * Unrestricted driver’s licence and access to a reliable, registered vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage car insurance.   About us: We are proud to be part of the merged care organisation that will be known nationally as BaptistCare.
