Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Orange is nestled in the picturesque Central Western Tablelands of NSW; it offers locals and visitors a unique blend of rural living with the culture and opportunities of a modern city.
This position is an opportunity for Occupational Therapists both local or looking for a ‘Tree change’ to become a member of a dynamic rural Occupational Therapy Department at Orange Health Service.
The level 4 Senior clinician role is based within the Occupational Therapy department at Orange Health service and is responsible for the delivery of comprehensive assessment, treatment, complex report writing and discharge planning to the inpatient units: medical, surgical, CCU, ICU, ED, and paediatric wards.
This clinician is also responsible for the supervision of junior staff within the department, facilitating student placements and identifying/leading quality improvement initiatives addressing service delivery within the OT team, MDT and greater health service.
As a Level 4 Senior Occupational Therapist in this position, there is an opportunity to apply your supervisory knowledge and skills and engaged in the development of Occupational Therapists in Acute in-patient service delivery.
