Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for a strategic lead for our People and Organisational Development (P&OD) team, who can drive our ambition to protect and restore biodiversity in Scotland and inspire everyone to value our natural world.
OD Senior Adviser is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of strategies that enhance organisational effectiveness, foster a positive workplace culture, and improve overall performance. You will work closely with leaders, managers, and teams to assess organisational needs, design and deliver OD interventions, and promote continuous learning and development.
You will work as part of the People & OD team, reporting into the OD manager and be aligned to one of the three directorates as an OD business partner, supporting Heads of functions with:
You will work in partnership with relevant HR People Adviser to support the directorate and provide a high-quality service.
Whilst supporting a directorate, you will also be expected to consider what is happening across the organisation and in the external landscape and make connections. You will support organisation wide change projects and initiatives. You will work with other senior OD Advisers to share your experience and benefit from others’ strengths when designing and delivering interventions. You will demonstrate a strong commitment to quality services and continuous improvement and be able to influence and enable change.
