POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Office Administrator is the glue that holds all of our support services together, enabling our operations teams to deliver exceptional service to our clients. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with the General Manager, Operations Manager, and Sales & Marketing Manager to ensure Qualimet’s ongoing success.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and adaptable to ERP systems
  • Excellent communication, tasking, and organizational skills
  • English language competency at CEFR Level C1 or higher preferred
  • Minimum 10 years’ progressive experience in office administration, with a proven track record of building strong administrative and accounting teams
  • Demonstrated administration and supervision experience
  • Diploma or degree in Administration or Accounting, or equivalent certification
  • At least 3 years’ experience with Human Resources administration
  • Strong understanding of GAAP accounting practices, applicable laws, and software
  • Familiarity with Alberta Labour Standards and Human Rights legislation

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily office operations and manage administrative staff
  • Develop and implement office procedures and policies
  • Manage office supplies and equipment
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Support executive teams with scheduling and administrative tasks
  • Act as the primary bank contact
  • Administer employee payroll, benefits, and Group Savings Registered Plan
