ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Bitvavo is seeking a dynamic and organized Senior Office Assistant to join our vibrant team. Our modern office, located in the heart of Amsterdam, serves as a hub for creativity and collaboration. As a Senior Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Places team and contributing to the smooth running of our exciting workplace. Responsibilities
  • Support the Places team in all aspects of day-to-day office management responsibilities when necessary, including acting as a point of contact for staff and reception (e.g. when colleagues are on leave).
  • Branded merchandise: Lead the creation, production, and management of our new branded merch shop. Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders (Marketing, People, Business Development) to meet the company’s merchandise needs (e.g. onboarding packs, event merch, seasonal gifts). Handle additional event-specific requests (e.g. conferences, Vavofest), including sourcing items, obtaining quotes, and managing lead times.
  • Branded stationery: Manage and streamline the design, production, and stock levels of all branded stationery.
  • Promote company initiatives and events: Manage internal communications via office screens and explore other potential communication channels. Collate and share information from stakeholders such as Places, People, and Marketing.
  • Event support: Assist with large staff off-site events such as Vavoween and Vavofest. Provide support for internal events as needed.
  • Ad-hoc projects: Contribute to projects aimed at improving Places processes and overall efficiency (e.g. development and maintenance of the internal handbook, creating a user-friendly floor plan for the office).
  • Team support: Ensure continuity of essential office management tasks during holiday, sick leave, and busy periods.
