Description

Reporting to the Senior Accountant, the Senior Office Clerk is primarily responsible for managing front office duties while ensuring the effective flow of information, communication, and world-class customer service. This position will also support the finance team in executing departmental goals and objectives but with a key focus on front-office.

Qualifications: Candidates must possess basic accounting knowledge, excellent internal and external customer service skills, and strong attention to detail. Applicants should be self-reliant, goal-oriented, and be able to set and adjust priorities and schedules.

  • Business or Office Administration Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience in an office environment or similar role, preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Tech savvy, with the ability to adapt to new technology
  • Greet visitors and manage front-office duties, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment
  • Assist with other administrative duties to support smooth office operations
  • Answer and direct incoming calls and enquiries
  • Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and orally
  • Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Superior telephone manners and strong interpersonal skills
  • High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
