VANRATH are excited to be working alongside a leading Manufacturing organisation with a great reputation for the recruitment of an Office Manager.
This is a role in the company’s Toome office. This is a Monday - Friday position - Flexibility can also be offered - later start or early finish, a condensed four-day week, part-time hours, or similar.
Permanent position.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

The purpose of this role is to coordinate activities across production, safety, HR, and engineering; arrange transport; expedite orders; and assist with production planning. It’s a varied and fast-paced position with plenty of scope for involvement across different areas of the business.

TYPICAL JOB DUTIES WOULD INCLUDE:

  • Oversee the management of office facilities, ensuring all operations are efficient and compliant with health and safety standards.
  • Manage relationships with multiple service providers, ensuring high-quality services are consistently delivered.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all office-related issues, including the operation and maintenance of office equipment (photocopiers, printers, telephony, video conferencing tools, and IT systems).
  • Maintain a proactive approach in managing office projects, prioritising tasks, and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Manage the office schedule and correspondence.​
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with customers and suppliers.​
  • Organise and co-ordinate office wide / company wide events. ​
  • Provide additional administrative support to the management team as needed.​
  • Help with employee orientation and training as needed.​
  • Handle customer and vendor inquiries via phone, email and in person.
  • Keep the office, reception, common areas and boardroom organised and functional.
  • Prepare and print documents and electronic information as needed.​
  • Coordinate with building management to address any issues with the office condition.​
  • Receive/prepare large deliveries on a daily basis.​
