QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree (3+ years)
• Specialized or Masters Degree in relevant field.
• Fluent in English
• Training in Intelligence Monitoring and/or Social Media Monitoring Platforms. Training in imagery and geospatial information and services. Familiarity with collection tools such as Feedly, Feedbro, IFTTT, TweetDeck, Telegram, alert maps among others. Familiarity with Geospatial tools such as Google Earth, Earth Explorer, Sentinel, Landsat.
• Years with qualifications: 2 - 4 years
• IATA Airline Security Accreditation. Certification or equivalent approval by the appropriate authority or Association e.g. IATA Aviation Security Course. OSINT, SOCMINT, GEOINT and/or IMINT qualifications. Tableau or other business analysis tools training or certification.

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE:

To be the focal point of, communication and reporting between flydubai Operations and flydubai aviation Security Department (FZAVSEC) for all aviation and travel security matters in relation to security incidents and risk management situations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitors daily flydubai operations, identifies and mitigates any possible aviation and travel security incidents / trends or scenarios.
• Monitors and assesses local and international security situations closely, that could affect flydubai and/or its operations and makes swift decisions on related progression, in line with policies and procedures.
• Liaises with General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), Dubai Police and other AVSEC stakeholders to address any aviation and travel security related matters.
• Supports FZAVSEC in promoting and maintaining a Security Awareness and Culture across flydubai.
• Handles TravSec (Travel Security) situations in the event of any employee related incidents.
• Communicates the final outcome of security incident risk assessments.
• Follows up with relevant teams to expedite material pre-load and ensure timely deliveries.
• Coordinates material positioning, transfers, and inventory control at maintenance bases.
• Monitors Security Service Provider communication platforms and NOTAMs to ensure the provision of security of daily operations and navigation over or close to conflict zones.
• Acts as a focal point during crisis management and emergencies through communication with the Threat Assessment Group (TAG) and problem solving, in response to an actual and/or threat towards flydubai and/or assets.
• Collects and records continuous active/inactive data of international security incidents and evaluates the circumstances for possible indirect/direct interference with the operations and brand to be communicated to the AVSEC Management Team and TAG.
• Receives, coordinates, and communicates all special category conveyance requirements across the network, timely, including facilitation of approvals for deportee passengers, weapons, and other commodities across foreign borders, while contributing to revenue generation.
• Deputizes for other team members (when required) to ensure continuity and coverage.
• Provides relevant updates and guidance (via phone on a 24/7 basis) on matters relating to security requirements and incidents to all employees.
• Creates daily aviation / travel security reports for all security incidents.
