The Opportunity The Senior Officer- Child Protection will be based in Ukhiya/Teknaf/Cox’s Bazar Sadar with regular field visits at Rohingya camps and any areas of Cox’s Bazar district. S/he will maintain close communications with the Case Management team, Technical Specialist-CP, Case Management Coordinator and Project Manager- CP/Technical Specialist-CP, and other members of the Child Protection Program, including MIS and Technical Support team. A key dimension of the role is to ensure effective supervision, technical guidance, and quality assurance of Case Management services, including adherence to inter-agency case management guidelines, SOPs, referral pathways, and confidentiality standards. The person will maintain close communication and coordination based on the integrated approach with other GBV and CP actors, Education, Health, FSL and other programs at the field level. Besides this, the SO-CP will closely work with support sections, departments and cross (GESI, MHPSS) and non-thematic teams (Finance, Supply Chain, etc.) of Save the Children. The position will maintain communication with site management agencies and coordinate with the CiC/UNO/DSS/ office very closely. Qualifications and Experience * At least 3 years’ experience in Child Protection and Case Management, preferably in Rohingya Response, with at least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or team leadership role, with direct responsibility for staff or volunteers. * Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Social Work / Social Sciences, Psychology / Counselling, Education/ Child Development / Early Childhood Education, Sociology / Anthropology, Development studies, Law  * Experience working in a child protection programme, including Case Management  * Experience in supervising, Coaching, and providing technical support to field teams. * Experience in interviewing and reporting on humanitarian/development works. * Experience in documenting, analysing, and summarising qualitative data.  * Experience in providing/ facilitating training, meeting. * Has a good working knowledge of using MS Office, and the internet. * Communication skills both in Bangla and English.  * Hands-on computer (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) operating skills The Organization We employ approximately 25,000 people across the globe and work on the ground in over 100 countries to help children affected by crises, or those that need better healthcare, education and child protection.
