ESTATES OFFICE COST AND CONTRACT MANAGEMENT SECTION Senior Officer (25260298) The appointee will be a member of the Cost and Contract Management Section of the Estates Office and will assist in monitoring the cost and the contractual aspects of the term contracts and the alterations, additions, repairs and improvement (AA&I) works of the University. Responsibilities: Assist in monitoring the cost and contractual aspects of the capital works, AA&I works, renovation projects and repair and maintenance works of the University; Vet deliverables from consultants; Prepare cost estimates for submission of project; Consolidate and provide cost data and information; Administer works projects according to the University/UGC’s procedures; and Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned. Requirements: A recognised first degree in Quantity Surveying or related disciplines; Minimum of 4 years’ work experience in quantity surveying or related fields; and Experiences in handling government-funded projects would be advantageous. The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to performance review, mutual agreement and availability of funding. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to sit for a written test. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
